While Heroes programs are beneficial for any age, our team designed the curriculum for ages 11-16. At this age, students’ brains are in a rapid state of development and personal identities are being formed, making Heroes a perfect fit.

However, Alberta students aged 15-20 can now gain CTS credits from our programs to use towards their Diploma. Learn more HERE

Heroes programs use a “Train the Trainer” model, where our program specialists train your staff or volunteers to facilitate the program in a classroom or community setting. We do this so that schools have the liberty of choosing who best to engage with their students.

Alberta high school students now have the opportunity to take courses at a self-guided pace virtually. Learn More HERE

Program materials include:

• Heroes Journals for each student

• An Instructor Guide

• Supplemental videos and slide decks

To access these, you must first connect with our team to register your class and undergo training. We will then foward you all information needed to order/access program resources.

The Flourishing Life Framework is derived from nearly 30 years of research based on principles of positive psychology. The FLQ assessment tool is critical in measuring the impact of Heroes Programs on youth development in a scientifically proven way. We provide the opportunity for schools to administer a pre and post-assessment to analyze the progress of their students. The framework includes a questionnaire, individualized profiles, and outcome reports to better understand a student’s internal and external strengths as well as their resilience capacity.

Yes! (Alberta high school students only)

You can earn 3 CTS credits by completing Heroes 2, Heroes Are Warriors or Heroes @ Home online.
